At GARRA BJJ Academy, we understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to hold or cancel your membership. Below are the cancellation policies specific to each branch.

CANCELLATION, HOLD & COOLING-OFF POLICIES
We value flexibility. You may pause or cancel your membership at any time by following the procedures below.
Verbal requests or messages via social media are not accepted.Membership Hold (Freeze)
You may pause your training for a minimum of 28 days per calendar year.
• How to Request: Submit a request via the Gymdesk Contact Form or email training@garrabjj.com.au.
• Notice Period: Requests must be received at least 48 hours before the start date.
• Fee: A $20.00 administrative fee applies to each approved hold to keep your account active and spot reserved.
• If a hold is approved after a payment has already been processed, the current paid fortnight remains active, and the hold will apply to the following billing cycle.Membership Cancellation
You may cancel your membership via the Gymdesk portal (Membership → Manage → Cancel Membership).
• Cancellation Fee: A $100.00 termination fee applies to all cancellations. This fee is processed automatically upon submission.
• Effect: Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.Private Lesson Cancellation Policy
Private lessons must be booked in advance.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.
Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the forfeiture of the full lesson fee.

Holding or Cancelling Membership
Members can place their membership on hold for a minimum of 28 days.
Requests for holding or cancellation must be made with the following minimum notice periods:
14 days’ notice required to place a membership on hold.
28 days’ notice required to cancel a membership.
📌 A $20 administration fee applies for each hold request.
📌 If an extension is needed, an additional $20 fee will be charged per extension.
📌 If a member cancels their membership and later decides to rejoin, the initial Registration Fee will need to be paid again.
