Tony Torrisi Garra BJJ Academy reprsentative, faught in the Purple Belt, Middle Weight division at the Pan American Championships at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil last week. Fighting against some of the best Brazilian practitioners in Brazil, Tony faught with perserverance and ferocity earning the right to stand number one amongst the best in Brazil. The newly dubbed Pan American Champion brought home the Gold shortly after winning Gold at the Rio State Championships the week before.
Tony comments “Wow what an intense atmosphere, can be very intimidating if your not focused. It was one of the hardest comps I’ve done in my life, but in the end 4 Really hard Brutal fights and four wins, loved every minute of it!
